We recently collaborated with our neighbours and good friends at Dollar Academy, along with their new catering company Thomas Franks, as part of the caterer’s new ‘Big Feed’ project.
With our latest winter campaign, Keeping Tummies Toasty, launching in the last couple of weeks to help more seniors access meals in their local community, we were grateful recipients of 200 meals made by Thomas Franks and Dollar Academy students.
Making a scrumptious Beef and Vegetable Casserole, we will be offering these meals as an extra to people who receive our Meals on Wheels during Tuesday and Friday deliveries in the coming weeks.
Our team were on hand at Hive Community Centre – where the Christmas tree is already up! – to receive the meals and couldn’t help but smile at the wonderful, hearty food made by local students.
