We were delighted to welcome not one—but many—very special guests to our Lunch Club on 29th May in Dollar. Our much-loved Doggy Therapy Lunch Club returned, bringing a whole host of four-legged friends to join our regulars for an afternoon of joy, cuddles, and community. The event was a tremendous success, with our guests—both human and canine—enjoying delicious food, lively conversation, and, of course, the comfort of our visiting pooches.

Adding to the excitement, we were honoured to receive a royal visitor: His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent, President of the Scout Association. The Duke spent time speaking with guests and volunteers, and was pictured with Hamish, son of The Village Kitchen’s founder, proudly dressed in his Scout uniform. It was a momentous occasion and one we’ll remember for a long time to come.

We were thrilled to see both events featured in the Alloa Advertiser. You can read their lovely write-ups below:

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. We look forward to welcoming you to another unforgettable Thursday soon.
