Village Kitchen is celebrating Good Food Week in collaboration with Dollar Academy and Thomas Franks for our Lunch Club.
Working in collaboration with Dollar Academy and Thomas Franks Foundation’s Community Food initiative, the delicious menu will be cooked by an award-winning chef who picked up Scottish Schools’ Chef of the Year in 2022! 10 students will also be helping out with the cooking and serving.
The delicious menu at Lunch Club will feature lentil and vegetable soup with crusty bread; braised steak, flaky puff pastry, parsley mash potato with peas and carrots; and a sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel and ice cream.
We’re truly honoured to be working with other organisations in the community to support seniors to access good, nutritious food.
