We’re continuing to Keeping Tummies Toasty this winter and beyond thanks to vital The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland funding.
£9,924 will help us continue to run our kitchen, pay utilities and support more people in communities across the regions we help feed and engaged with their peers. Thank you.
Alexandra Ostroumoff-Croucher, Founding Director and CEO of Village Kitchen CIC, said:
“This funding is crucial to supporting more seniors across Clackmannanshire and Forth Valley to access hearty, nutritious food, to stay connected to their community and build supportive networks.
“With thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund and people playing The National Lottery, this has helped fund work that means we can support people to access a life-changing and lifeline service who might normally become left behind. Funding like this goes a long way for our small and mighty team who work so hard to support people in the community.”
The National Lottery Community Fund, Scotland Chair, Kate Still said:
“National Lottery funding can make amazing things happen in local communities across the country. This project delivered by Village Kitchen CIC, is a great example of community activity in action, showing just what can be achieved not only during the Festive season, but all year round, when people come together for a common cause or to help others.
“National Lottery players can be proud to know that the money they raise is helping to support this vital work which is making a real difference to so many.”
