We hosted our first Community Burns Supper fundraiser at the Hive Community Centre in Dollar and it was an overwhelming success!
Village Kitchen would like to thank everyone for attending on the night, who enjoyed a lovely evening of good food, entertainment and the community coming together.
We raised £4,361 on the night and we are very lucky to have amazing volunteers who made the evening possible.
Chef Harri played Nancy and our talented chefs, Alexandra and Carole, pumped out all the delicious meals from the kitchen.
We were very lucky to have Derek on the pipes and we were joined by the 2nd Dollar Scouts, including Keir on the pipes for his first public appearance! We were glad to be joined by speakers, the two Davids and Julia.
An attendee was the recipient of a generous donation by The Adamson Hotel in the raffle, which included a fantastic weekend away in North Berwick.
A huge thanks to Bookers for the haggis, Dollar Community Development Trust for providing the sound system and, again, for everyone attending!
Support on the evening means that more seniors across local communities can continue to access hearty, home cooked food and supportive networks.
