Volunteering

We have an army of volunteers at Village Kitchen who use their spare time to cook meals, help deliver meals to people across the region, take people to and from our Lunch Club, wash up, befriend people we support, and more!

Volunteers make Village Kitchen happen every single week. The amazing team is recognised across the region and are often nominated for awards through their commitment to alleviating social isolation and loneliness in the many communities we reach.

Our volunteers tell us what a valuable experience it is working with us, which is evidenced by just how long they choose to stay with us. Our longest serving volunteer has offered their time for over six years!
