Food deliveries every Tuesday and Friday!
Meals on Wheels
Our delivery service provides food directly to your home across Forth Valley, with two courses for £6 and free delivery.
We believe access to good, nutritious food is important
We deliver delicious meals across the region twice a week every Tuesday and Friday. We provide two hearty courses for only £6, including large main courses and sides, and our very generously sized desserts and cakes! There is a focus on traditional food for a real taste of home.
Tasty meals include steak pie, cottage pie and mince n’ tatties, plus sweet treats like apple crumble & custard. It’s food that can easily be reheated and has all the flavour, quality and comfort you get from a home-cooked meal. Only difference is, it’s home cooked in our Dollar kitchen!
Our volunteers go above and beyond to prepare and deliver food straight to your door. Our drivers take the time to get to know our clients, checking in on their wellbeing, offering great peace of mind to family members.
Our Meals on Wheels
We prepare fresh-to-frozen meals weekly using fresh ingredients. Where possible, we work with our collaborative partners in the food industry to reduce food waste by using donated food in our menus.
Fresh, delicious ingredients come our way weekly from local supermarkets and FareShare that would otherwise go to waste and we are proud to contribute to reducing the hospitality sector’s carbon footprint.
Each week, you will receive a different meal as we consider the surprise of our meals as a way to protect the planet. This means our customers can’t select from a menu of options, like the food in the gallery below.
When you sign up to Meals on Wheels, we take the time to get to know you. We learn what food you like and don’t like, while taking note of any allergies you may have. If you don’t like a certain food in particular, such as mushrooms or fish, you will never receive a dish with those items.
If you ever receive a meal you don’t like, let us know and we will refund you and replace it with a free meal.

Frequently Asked Questions
The majority of our meals are traditionally British and include things like mince and tatties, casseroles and pies, fruit crumbles and sponge puddings. We don’t include anything ‘spicy’ and if there is any food you really don’t like, you can let us know.
We cook small batch and individual portions fresh to frozen every week and send out different meals every Tuesday and Friday with a large and varied menu. Once we understand your dietary needs and preferences we can tailor a menu to suit you.
However, we usually cannot guarantee a specific menu item. If you don’t enjoy the ‘surprise’ meal option, you can call us to check what meals we have each week and we can set your preferred meal aside for you.

Our 2-course meals are great value at only £6, with very hearty portions.
While recommend paying online as the most secure method of payment, removing the stress of doorstep payments. However, we know digital payments aren’t for everyone, so we offer flexible options to suit everyone. That’s why you can choose to pay ‘on-your-doorstep’ in cash, by cheque or bank card. You can also set up a regular standing order with your bank
Our drivers will be with you between 10:15 and 12:30. Someone must be home to accept delivery. We are unable to leave food unattended on your doorstep. If you know in advance you won’t be home, please give us a call. We can leave meals with a neighbour or a friend or family member at a different location if you give us 24 hours notice.
We recommend reheating the food in a microwave. All food is delivered in food-safe microwavable containers. Once defrosted (we recommend 24 hours in the fridge or use your microwave’s defrost setting), food can be heated in only 3 minutes.
If you are unsatisfied with your meal in any way, please let us know. We will replace the meal free of charge and offer you your next meal for free. We will also update your account to ensure you never receive that particular menu item again.
Yes. If you are going on holiday, have family staying or just want a break, then all we ask is you give us 48 hours notice. We make a fresh meal for you every week and we don’t want it to go to waste! Without sufficient notice, we would unfortunately still have to charge you for that meal.
