Yes, we work with local charity Dial-a-Journey who fully train our drivers to support our seniors. Their fully accessible buses are adapted to suit all physical needs and mobility issues. This includes a rear lift to allow guests to avoid stairs, a lower step/ramp to avoid a difficult first step onto the bus, storage space for wheelchairs and walkers and safety harnesses to allow a wheelchair user to remain in their wheelchair for the duration of the journey.
Our volunteer driver is trained and certified to support seniors with a range of mobility issues on the bus. We also have additional volunteers who come along to support the guests, to allow for one volunteer to 3 or 4 guests. If you or a loved one feels they need more direct one-on-one support, carers may join the trip for free.
